Review: Donna Hill has done it again. The girl has got it going on. She is the best Writter that they have. I laugh and cry with this book. This is definitely on to pass on to book club. I hope that this makes it to the screen of BET. I really love the fact that Dione was able to change Garrett mind about unwed mothers. We are not all bad. I loved the sense of family in this book. My farvorite character was Ms. Besty.

Review: I really enjoyed this book. It proves that a person can achieve anything they set their mind to, regardless of the circumstances that put them there. She turn her bad situation into something positive to help other teenagers that were in the same position she once was in. I loved this book.

Summary: Predictable, But a Great Ending
Review: This is the third book I have read of Ms. Donna Hill. She is an excellent writer and one of my favorite arabesque romance writers. However, I feel that this book was not as good as the two previous books I read, A Private Affair and Pieces of Dreams. After reading those books, maybe my expectations of this book were too high. Chances Are was very predictable and seemed rushed. However, it seemed to pick up speed toward the end. It was a good read overall, for the fact that a woman can endure hardship and still make it above all. Dionne had unconditional love for her daughter, Niyah, and did not want to do anything to sacrifice that, even if it meant keeping the truth from her. The ending is good, but would have been better if it was more detailed, and not so brief. The good thing is Dionne was able to overcome her fears and find love in the end. Donna Hill still remains to be one of my favorite authors and I will continue to read all of her books. Keep them coming Ms. Hill!

Summary: Love means Sacrificing!!!!
Review: This novel was beautiful and very sentimental. This novel was about a mother who sacrificed her life, for the happiness and protection of her daughter. She put her needs before others. It shows strong will and determination for teenage mothers to rise above the odds that are pending against them. I was happy to find out that Ms. Williams let herself go long enough to find true love and happiness after what happened to her. I can't imagine anyone's parents disowning them at such a ripe age, all over a mistake. Nevertheless, she put her life together, started a shelter for teenage mothers, and gained respect from others who were apprehensive about the outcome of the teenage mothers. Absolutely excellent!!! Keep up the good work!!

Review: This story was my first by Hill and it was great! Hill has a great writing style that just makes readers want to jump into the story unitl it ends!! I love it Great read! Much Love Hill!
