Rating: Summary: Her best yet Review: I have read all of Ms. Jones books--both as Winstead Jones and just Jones--and this is by far her best yet. Lots of action, suspense and romance. The perfect summer read!
Rating: Summary: Great read - but a little familiar? Review: I thoroughly enjoyed this book - the plot line, the romance, the characters were all very enjoyable. My only gripe with the book is that it seemed strangely similar to "Perfect" by Judith McNaught. This didn't ruin the book for me, but I don't think the book came across as "original."
Rating: Summary: A MUST READ! Review: Ms. Jones has taken a tried-and-true romance plot and given it her own special magic. HOT ON HIS TRAIL is a must read and I can promise you that once you start, you won't be able to put it down. Then when you finish the book, you'll be asking for--make that demanding--stories for Shea's three intriguing brothers, Boone, Dean and Clint.
Rating: Summary: Intense plot and extraordinary motivation Review: No one cares about the truth when the judge announces Nick Taggert's conviction of murdering his neighbor. The police had their conviction; the D.A. had his win. With an easily framed man in front of them, their convenient patsy receives a guilty verdict. In shock the justice system fails him, Nick throws caution to the wind -- ten months of good behavior had lowered his guard's defenses -- and he flees the courtroom. With no where to run and no help in sight, Nick grabs a nearby reporter to use a hostage and they leave the courthouse behind. Reporter Shea Sinclair was sick of being the "weather girl" so she jumps at the opportunity to substitute for the station's lead reporter. When Nick kidnaps her, she feels terrified, and angry. Remarkably, she also believes in his innocence and that he won't hurt her. When Nick offers to release her, Shea refuses to leave. At first her motive to get the story and see her career skyrocket to the top lead to her decision. Soon her heart has its own motives. As tension of the chase builds, and as they partner to prove Nick's innocence, passion ignites. They find passion in the heat of the moment, for the moment may be all they ever share. HOT ON HIS TRAIL by Linda Winstead Jones presents a double entendre -- not only are the police hot on their trail, but these fiery characters ignite as Shea throws her lot in with an alleged criminal. Desperation leads to an intense plot, and extraordinary motivation. Indeed, nail biting suspense and heated passion never overshadow this reevaluation of priorities, goals and dreams. Very highly recommended.
Rating: Summary: I would pass... Review: Shea Sinclairknew that this trail would help her break away from her "weather girl" image into main stream news reporting...that is until the man on trial, Nick Taggert, escapse from the courtroom with Shea on gun point. And as the story goes she stays on to help prove his innoence. This book left a great deal lacking from uninteresting characters to a predictable plot line. Even the hero's name has been used in so many romance novels that I found it almost humurous to read. (And not humorous in a good way) If you have to pick one Silhouette Intimate Moments book to read this month this would not be the one. The only part of the book that was a plus was the semi-strong, but all too girly heroine Shea.

Rating: Summary: Absolutely Love this Book Review: This book is so good, I picked it up and I just couldn't put it down, I laughed, I cried, and I smiled though out the whole thing. I highly would recommend this book to anyone who loves romance novles, or some one who wants to get hooked on the words that Mrs. Jones writes down on paper.
