Summary: A Non-stop Read!!!!
Review: In the tradition of such authors as Nancy Thayer and Rosemunde Pilcher, Prior Commitments holds true to the ever-loved woman's novel. It is a book about relationships, temptations, and life-changing decisions that a young woman has to make. I loved the way the author described each scene so that the reader is completely absorbed into her world ineffect causing the reader to feel as though the character were a friend. This book kept me reading for two days straight and I was done! An easy read, with words and descriptions that flow fromt eh page, Prior Commitments is a must by for those who believe that love can surface once again after obstacles have been surmounted and tragedies have been overcome.

Summary: Disappointing!
Review: Ms. Malemes is quite obviously new to writing, and I expected much more from this book. The characters conflict with-not one another-but themselves! Dimitri, the male protagonist, swings between being macho and self sure, to a crying, sensitive, wonderful guy. The author needs to pick a personality type, and stick with it, and the same it true for almost every other character.

I also thought this book very reduntant and repetitive, and I found myself skimming many times. There were long, drawn out descriptions of characters, and the overall writing style was very amatuer.

And, upon closer inspection, the reader of this review will find the above two written by none other than the author herself.

In future books, we, being my book group, hope Ms. Malemes will put a little more effort into her books, and perhaps read a few guides to professional writing. And get a better checker for spelling and grammatical errors.

Summary: Prior Commitment
Review: The book was a good curl up and get away book. The characters seemed real and the situations made one mad and made us cry.

Summary: Symbolizes Trials of Humanity in Love
Review: The character's all-mode love affairs are just that, complex with a never ending obstacle course. From a male's point of view, Dimitri's character symbolizes the breakdown of a man falling in love all over again, unexpectedly. The experience begins once Sloane opens the door with the key to his heart, as she did eleven years ago.

The more I learned about the characters, the more the reality of my own relationship became translucent. On a very positive note, the character's personalities are perfectly in tune & ever-changing, yet moving in the same direction towards love.

Enjoy the hours of uninterrupted music that this novel will bring. This love story will pave the way for a delightful evening.

Summary: I Couldn't Put it Down!
Review: This book...oh, this book! It was wonderful! Sloane is the type of character that you love to hate. She is beautiful, intelligent, and lucky beyond belief. The book grabs your attention from the very beginning, as she runs into Dimitri, her ex-fiancee from eleven years ago. Oh, wow, and is he good-looking! Throughout the book, she is tempted like nothing she has ever felt. Her emotions and hormones run wild, unrestrained. I couldn't put this book down and when I finally did, it had only taken me two days to finish. I laughed and cried, I clenched my teeth and had to take cold showers. It was wonderful. This author has a successful future ahead of her!
