Summary: Sultry and Sizzling summer reading
Review: I have to admit, I have never been into Harlequin romances. On the occasions I have picked one up out of boredom when I've had nothing else to read, I can't say I was ever really impressed. Until I was stuck on a plane for 8 hours with nothing to read but the mislaid copy of "Flashback" by Nancy Warren. I have to say this is a great read. The character of Laura is so likeable, you just want her to get her man and find true love. And the hunky Jack is someone you yourself wish you had in your life- sexy, passionate, built, but still beautifully gentle and loving. I think Nancy's writing is brilliant. She keeps the plot unravelling at just the right speed, the love scenes just erotic enough and the characters consistently riveting. I loved it and would highly reccomend it. I couldn't believe how it got my busy brain focussed on romance and desire. I can tell you one thing, my husband is sure glad I read it!!!!!

Summary: Temptation tempted me!
Review: Nancy Warren creates a hero-to-die for in Flashback. Jack Thomas is every woman's dream man, sexy, sensative and endearing. The heroine, Laura Kincaide, tries her best to resist the man who dumped her for a cheerleader in high school. But all Jack has to do is level one of his suggestive blue-eyed stares at her and she's a gonner. Flashback is a fast-paced, fun read. For those readers who like a dry sense of humor, Nancy Warren's the best. Flashback will not disappoint you.

Summary: Playful and great fun! Highly recommended
Review: She fell in love with Jack Thomas when she was sixteen. He had been nineteen, out of school, working as a carpenter's apprentice until he headed off to college on a football scholarship in the fall. Then he got another girl pregnant and broke her heart. Twelve years may have passed, but Laura Kincaide doesn't intend to leave herself that vulnerable ever again.

When Jack lost his football scholarship, he also lost his best friend. Laura had followed him around like an adoring puppy, until the summer when she was sixteen. Then he saw her, for the first time, as the woman she would become. Stolen kisses ignited his passion, but a foolish mistake cost him everything, but gave him a beautiful daughter. Now Laura's back, and Jack can't resist rising to the challenge when they are thrown together working on the same project.

The once gracious Victorian house sags with neglect. As a teenager, Laura dreamed of sharing the house with Jack and raising their children there. So she can't resist the lure when she's offered the opportunity to restore the interior to its original glory. When Jack shows up to do the carpentry, Laura vows to keep her distance rather than walk away from a restoration she's dreamed about for years.

The playful undertone of FLASHBACK will keep the reader smiling as Laura draws big Xs with tape to keep Jack on his side of the house. Delightfully rich with humor and healing, FLASHBACK's vivid characterizations come alive with their warmth and feistiness. The emotional conflict which forms the premise for this memorable novel results in a fascinating, satisfying read that comes highly recommended.

Review: Wow, what a great ride! This book is sexy, sassy, and above all, extremely funny. I read a lot of romances and I think we have found a new star in romance heaven in Nancy Warren. This book really sizzles from beginning to end. I read it in one compulsive gulp! Bravo!
