Summary: An incredible book!
Review: Festival is a wonderful love story, and a terrific depicition of the Scottish laird. I fell in love with Jamie Cameron along with Catie. I really enjoyed that they began their relationship through phone calls rather than being swept up in lust at first sight. Their banter on the phone and in person made me smile on more than one occasion. The story was so well written it was difficult for me to put the book down and I read it in a day and a half. This book is destined for my keeper shelf.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Good, but ....
Review: From the blurb on the back through most of the book, this novel strongly suggests that it's a time travel romance. But after hundreds of pages, the "time travel" seems hurried and rather silly. It's a decent read, but Outlander is a far better choice if you're looking for a Scotland-themed book.
