Review: One of my favorite types of story is one centered around a mistaken identity. It's easy to concoct a story with a mix up, foul up, or otherwise contrived misunderstanding. It takes a gifted storyteller to craft a masterpiece that's based on a whopper of a misunderstanding! "Hearts in ¾ Time" makes you laugh, sigh, and cross your fingers with fervent hopes that the main characters will get together, despite continual obstacles. Samantha Jones is a strong heroine who loses her heart pretty much right away when she lays eyes on the handsome and magnetic Jerome Tyrakowski. When you're reading this book, there is no, "How could she not find out?" "Hearts" is a tale so well written that you are amazed that *kismet*, not the author, keeps Samantha from finding out that her beloved Jody Tyrell and the notorious despot Jerome Tyrakowski are the same man. Classical music lovers will be entranced by the scenic backdrop of the Metropolitan Symphony and elegant feel of the behind the scenes workings of a renowned symphony. This graceful, enchanting novel will have you sighing at one couple's true and pure love story.
