Rating: Summary: What is it about Clinton Steele that drives women nuts? Review: His assistant and his sister-in-law do strange things to get his attention. But you've got to know it's the one woman he can't have who peaks his "attention." Terri Powers has returned to work after taking three months off to get her head together. She's lost a husband and has suffered a miscarriage. Her business partner is double-dealing and her accountant is in cahoots with him. Now, a man whose business reputation leaves something to be desired wants her PR and advertising firm to represent him. Terri's not about to go there and tells him where he can take his personal and professional propositions. With all that's happening around her she's got to make quick revisions in her thinking about a lot of people -- Clint among them. As in most Donna Hill novels, both characters have deep issues in their pasts to overcome. They find that if they work together, things may just work out. The characters don't always remember this and it leads to some interesting plot twists. Clint is a truly "heroic" character. It doesn't hurt that he's rich and good looking -- which might explain why he's so irresistable to women -- and, yes eventually that even includes Terri!

Rating: Summary: MASS CONFUSION Review: I ENJOYED THIS BOOK BUT, IT TOOK A LITTLE TOO LONG FOR THE LEAD CHARACTERS TO FIGURE OUT THAT THE PEOPLE THAT THEY LEAST SUSPECTED TO COMMIT ALL OF THE WRONG DOING IN THIS BOOK WERE GUILTY. THEY WERE BOTH JUST A LITTLE TOO NAIVE TO MY LIKING. IF THESE WOMEN WERE THAT CUT THROAT IN THE BUSINESS WORLD, HOW COULD THEY BE SO TAKEN IN AS TO NOT CHECK THE REFERENCES OF SOMEONE SO HIGH UP IN YOUR BUSINESS AS TO PRACTICALLY BE RUNNING IT.

Rating: Summary: Great work by Hill! Review: This a great book! Ok maybe I'm bias, Hill is only one of my favorite authors. Clinton and Terri are perfect together. I really enjoyed reading this one, and I hope you will too!
