Summary: A beautiful book for a relaxing evening at home.
Review: This book has no surprises in store for the reader, but despite its predictability, its a wonderful story. Callie Southgates father had practically bought his slightly crippled daughter a husband and his name is Horace Perkins (terrible isn't it?) And if any man fit his name, it was the late Mr. Perkins. But it wasn't Mr. Perkins who arrived in Dark Creek, but card sharp, bank robber, and con man on the run, Jace Greer. I recommend this book to anyone looking for a light read with truly interesting characters.
