I couldn't put it down. It's the kind of book you want to spend the weekend with. You will love it.

Review: FAMILY SHADOWS by Kate Kitchen is a deeply personal story of raw human emotions describing a girl's evolution into womanhood.The honest vulnerability of the heroin, as she expresses her multiple love stories intertwined with overpowering disappointments, is riveting reading. As the strength of character of Elizabeth grows out of the pages of this beautifully crafted novel, one anticipates an ending of hope and good news. What one gets is a very surprising ending that upon reflection is much better than the one expected by the reader. A therapeutically healing novel well worthy of any quiet evening's read.
