Summary: Wow...
Review: I couldn't stop putting this book down. I read it in about 3 hours. The whole thing with the buffalo was real trippy! I don't care how "mysteriously provocative" some guy is--if he tells me his mother is an unborn buffalo, I think I could control my attraction. And poor Greg! Who'd have figured HE would be the romantic hero? Oh yeah, it said so in the first chapter. That's right. I don't think you would understand this book unless you were Mormon. Oh wait--I'm Mormon, and even I didn't quite understand everything. Nevermind.

Summary: A Delight!
Review: I loved this book! The story moves quickly and keeps you guessing until the end. It was a relief to read a book with a plot that doesn't rely on sex to move it along.

This novel is a story of young romance with a touch of mystery. Ron and his evil cousin, Erika provide the mystery, which Jenna has to solve.

It is the story of a girl, Jenna, who learns who she is by discovering the frailty of her friends. Her religious world is blown apart when she meets and falls in love with Ron, who is very different from herself. Through this unusual man, she learns the truth about the man she hoped to marry.

Though Ron is different, even quirky, he has an inner child that is appealing. He obviously loves Jenna and wants the best for her.

Jenna is finally able to learn the truth about Ron. She uses the knowledge she has gained to shape her own life.

This book is wonderful for teenagers. Though the main character is religious, it isn't a "preachy" book. It isn't as intense as a lot of books out there, which I find refreshing. The story kept me interested to the end. It even reminded me a little of myself as a teenager. It has a all the emotions--joy and sorrow, falling in love and breaking of hearts. The ending is very satisfying. I'd love to see the author to write a sequal to this book!

Summary: Myth & Mystery drive this novel of Love, Deception, Intrigue
Review: SYNOPSIS PROVIDED BY AUTHOR

Suitable for ages pre-teen to adult. Rated PG. No offensive language or situations.

What is a nice girl like Jenna Ogden doing in love with handsome, provocatively mysterious Ron Sundy, whose mother is a buffalo who has not yet been born?

Ron leads his religion, a mix of Indian lore, myth, and Christianity. He sees himself as the son of White Buffalo, whose rebirth will signal the end of the earth. His cousin, Erika, wants to dispose of Ron, and enthrone herself as spiritual leader of their tribe. Her interference disturbs Jenna, as Erika attempts to recruit Jenna into her dark schemes.

Confused by Ron's mystic abilities to heal and "mind travel," Jenna wrestles with Ron's claim that his life's mission is to save the world from evil.

Jenna never dreamed she'd fall in love. She was waiting for Connor Young to return from his two-year Mormon mission and marry her. Impressions of Innocence is the story of love's pain and triumph as Jenna grows from a sheltered, naïve Mormon girl to a mature and wise woman.

Mormons, myths, and mystery drive this story of love, deception, and intrigue.
