Rating: Summary: Telling it like it is Review: From reading this book, I can relate to some of the kinds of realtionships that I've been through. I dont see anything desperate about the situation; I can see through the author's eyes the frustration of actually finding a good man; which is a rare commodity these days. I'd definitely refer this book. I cant wait to see what's next!
Rating: Summary: DESPERATION Review: I did not like this book. I feel it should have been title, "A Desperate Woman in Search of Men."
Rating: Summary: I found my good man!!!!! Review: I enjoyed this book very much!!! I thought it was well written, informative, and helpful to a young single woman searching for her good man. Rating: Summary: EXCELLENT!! I can't wait for this new author's second book! Review: I heard about this book through a friend of a friend. The usual word of mouth circulation that occurs when we find a book that really relates to the experiences we all share as single women searching for Mr. Right. The characters are well written and you will find yourself remembering someone that you knew who was just like Dexter,Kevin or Adam. I certainly did. Miss Clarke's book kept me laughing and let me know that I was not alone out there when it comes to dating disasters. I could not put it down once I started reading. This author has an uncommon wit and the ability to make you feel what the main character, Monica, feels as she rides the emotional roller coaster of dating. This was a page turner to the end. I highly recommend this book to ANYONE looking for an enjoyable afternoon of reading. Best wishes to Miss Clarke, I look forward to your next book.
Rating: Summary: All I can say is WOW!!!! Review: I was curious when I saw the title, but it didn't prepare me for what was yet to come. I think everyone no matter what race has had a "Monica Moment" in her life. I think this book is well written and a must read for every modern women.

Rating: Summary: The Real Deal! Review: Monica Edwards is a divorced single mother, now dealing with the dating scene. She finds it difficult to make it in the dating world. Many women can relate to some of the experiences that she goes through in trying to find herself again. In reading this book I found it very easy to follow and I could not wait to find out what was going to happen on the next page. The writer of this book kept me wanting more I read the entire book in one sitting. I would recommend this book to all my single girlfriends. It is a real story for real women. Rating: Summary: Where are all of the good men? Review: Monica Edwards is a newly divorced single mother trying to survive in the dating world. She works at an airport so she sees many men come and go on a daily basis. In Search Of Good Men, a novel by R.Moreen Clarke, chronicles the dating experiences of Monica, the main character. She meets man after man and falls in love far too easily and far too often. As she enters into relationships with these men she explains why she is so attracted to them and what her feelings are towards them. If this book were a self-help book Monica's mistakes might tell women what not to do while dating, unfortunately this book is supposed to be a novel. In reading the book I did not have any feelings at all towards Monica, it was like she was just there. The book did not have a continuous flow and oftentimes was hard to read. On the RAW scale In Search Of Good Meen is a 2. Reviewed by Simone A. Hawks
Rating: Summary: The Real Deal! Review: The title alone made me pick up the book. I thought it was a lesson plan inside, and I needed to take notes. On a serious note, Monica reminded me so much of myself. Going through rocky relationships, and dating all the bad apples in the bunch before you find a good one. A very persistence and determining woman. And yes, as black woman we tend to get a little bit desperate and settle for less. But sometimes we have no choice when their are no more good men out there.(And sometimes even the married ones aren't good) Ms. Clarke tells the story in her point of view. And from one sister to the next, I commend you on your goals and accomplishments. Not to many sisters congratulate one another for that. We tend to drag each other down to the ground, but I give you 2 thumbs up for that. Continued success!!! Let's start supporting our self published authors
