Review: I've not read anything by Gloria Nero before, but she's got my attention now!! This honest portrayal of life and love is not without charm and humor. Gloria Nero has got a misleadingly simple style of writing which none-the-less paints some extraordinarily detailed scenes. She's a very visual writer, and her book has left me with a good deal of feeling for the Catskill Mountains, an area I have myself visited and loved. Very good and thank YOU Gloria Nero!

Review: Starting from the first page, this book captured me and held me hostage all the way to the end. Gloria Nero has captured the essence of the catskills as well as the passion and love each of us long for. Thaddeus & Phronsie are complicated caracters that Gloria has been able to tell us about in an easy to read story. I look forward to reading future works by Gloria Nero and extend my sincere Thank You to her for great book.
