Review: A page turner from beginning to end. I love this book! The heroine, Bijoux Cinq-Mars, is a compelling character because she fails, yet admits her failure openly and that is winning. That she sees so deeply into her own faults and turns to others in desperation makes you cheer her on. That she expresses such love and gratitude for those who helped her is touching. That she grows and finally succeeds is inspiring.
