Rating: Summary: How is little Paul? Review: I was never much of a reader, but now at 41 with a new PDA I've decided to entertain myself in the fiction world. I, personally, liked the eBook. I think you would have to actually know that kind of heat and passion for a true love to rate the book from the heart. I identified with their feelings, their lives, their love. I'd like to see a follow-up of their lives in another story by Mary Lynn!
Rating: Summary: Heartless in Seattle Review: The basic plot premise was interesting enough to get me to buy the book. However, this book contained more than the average amount of conflict. The main characters annoyed and misunderstood one another at almost every turn. The characters just didn't have any fun except for the sensual scenes. Also, there were big jumps in time and location that seemed harshly abrupt. Toward the end of the book, I ceased to relate to Cari because she was terribly bird-brained when it came to her own personal life. I found Cari's treatment of Wyatt so horrible that I couldn't bring myself to suffer through the last chapters. Better luck to the author on her next work...for a just little more harmony and a smoother read.

Rating: Summary: Not a traditional romance! Review: Tyler Morgen writes the popular advice column "Dear Cari." One day she gets a letter from someone who calls himself "Lonely and Love Starved," whose circumstances are strangely familiar. Could Lonely be Wyatt Jordan, her best friend's brother - and the man she has loved for years? Desperate to know, she sets out to Philadelphia to find him - and the truth. The idea of an advice columnist finding love through her work is nothing new, and the particulars of this book made it sound quite intriguing. Unfortunately, for this reader at least, Dear Cari didn't manage to hit that mark. As a long-time reader of romances, I found myself disappointed by the novel. The heroine's behavior was infuriating at times, and neither she nor Wyatt entirely sympathetic. However... Objectively looking at this book, it would probably be a good read for those who like modern, realistic romantic fiction. The characters are very human, making human mistakes and choices, and the dialogue is great. While a love story, Dear Cari is certainly not your everyday romance! Read it, enjoy it, but don't go into it looking for a traditional read.
Rating: Summary: The only man she would ever love... Review: What would you do if the man you love didn't even know you were alive? You would go on with your life and deal with it. But what happens when you find out that man cares for you too? That is a rather brief understanding of this book. A fast, emotional read that makes you never want to stop reading it. It keeps you guessing, which is a major plus. In my opionion if a book can't keep you interested then it isn't worth the time it took to write it, but this isn't one of those books. Dear Cari not only kept me interested, but also frustrated and almost to the point of wanting to strangle the characters. Mary Lynn gave this book just enough sensuality to raise blood pressure with out going overboard. Definitely a great book.
