Rating: Summary: Not her best work.... Review: Brianna is studying to be a healer. "Sammy" Bergen is a biker. When Sammy begins hearing a mysterious 'singing voice' he thinks he's gone crazy. Instead, he's listening to Brianna, a 9th century Irish maiden.I wanted to like this book. I'm a fan of Sizemore's modern novels. But I just had trouble getting into this one. The writing seemed amateurish, and I had difficulty taking the hero "Sammy" seriously. His name (Sammy) seemed like the name of a little boy rather than a big tough biker. Also it was a little too 'light' for my tastes. I prefer more depth and historical accuracy in the books I read. This might appeal to those who like light historical romance. But for me, I found it onerous.

Rating: Summary: Ancient Irish Bikers Review: I suspect this was a early effort by this author, because the plot does not have the elan of Sizemore's other works. However, it's a funny story involving a modern day biker time-traveling to Dark Ages Ireland, his adventures and loves. It presages Sizemore's later time-travel romances because these early time-traveling characters apparently do not agree with the SF tenet of not disturbing events in the past for fear of affecting the future. In fact, the modern character (in this book the hero) feels no compunctions about revealing his 20th century origins, and starts "improving" the life of the villagers with modern conveniences made with 9th century materials. On the whole, I thought this book was funny and silly enough to be worth a read.
