Review: This being the first book I'd read by Tamara Leigh, I was well pleased with my selection. The premise for this book is one I had not seen before and had me captivated from the first. Seeking to thwart his half brother, the baron of Ashlingford weds and begets a son in secret. After the baron's death, tensions and passions mount as Liam--the hated half-brother-- and Joslyn--the unloved bride--meet. In a time when marriage between people even remotely related is forbidden, Liam and Joslyn forge a love that they would fight heaven and hell to possess. Packed full of mystery, intrigue and passion, _Misbegotten_ is an all-embracing medieval romance sure to warm your heart. One of the best books I've read in a long, *long* time.
