Rating: 3 stars
Summary: Nice Heroine but The Hero is a Weirdo!
Review: As a fan of romance novels and the ones taking place in Australia being among my favorites I decided to read The Heart of the matter which was written by Lindsay Armstrong and it was mostly a good book and I liked the heroine Clarry who was a sweet person but I didn't like her husband Rob and thought he was too overbearing and the spousal rape scene was very disturbing and keeps this book from getting 5 stars!

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: It was Ok.
Review: I like Romance books set in Australia and The Heart of the Matter about a husband and wife named Rob and Clarissa was good for the most part but had a couple of rough patches including Rob's sometimes harsh, dominant personality and Clarissa was sometimes just to naive but it was an interesting read though, but it just wasn't a book for the keeper shelf!

Rating: 2 stars
Summary: Could've Been Better
Review: This romance book, The Heart Of The Matter from Lindsay Armstrong was just ok, it is not a favorite of mine! It is about a guy named Robert Randall and a lady named Clarissa Kingston, and the story is set in Australia. I liked some things in the book but what has kept me from really liking this book is that I didn't like the part where Rob got mad at Clarry over a misunderstanding and was really nasty and cruel to her.
