Rating: Summary: Reluctant Lovers Find True Happiness Review: Stephanie and Dominic seem doomed from the start. With her fierce pride and his aversion to believing in true love it looks as if they would never compromise. I 've read this book several times and I am always pleased in how the two lovers end up in the authors own words. Lindsay Armstrong is a very good writer and keeps you mesmerized until the end of all her stories. It is obvious to the reader that there is something below the surface of Dominic's aloofness, but what is not apparent. He seems to be obsessed with causing her to give in to him physically and yet is not willing to give more of himself than that. Even after they are married, its difficult for him to admit his feelings for her. Stephanie on the other hand, is so unsure of herself and riddled with complexes, she comes to resent herself giving in to him.
