Summary: There Is A Little Twist To The Story
Review: I enjoyed this book. As the previous review states Maribeth, the bride, is jilted by her long time boyfriend. The best man who is a mutual friend of both the bride and groom has not seen the bride for a few years. The groom has him come and break the news to the bride that the wedding is off and he offers himself as a replacement groom, having never told her that he has been in love with her for a long time. The story unfolds from there and there is a twist to the story that comes in about half way through. I have to say I liked the characters in this and felt comfortable with them. I recommend this but I did learn after reading it that it is the third book in a trilogy behind Instant Mommy #1139 under the Silhouette Romances and Megan's Marriage #979 under the Silhouette Desire Romances. All three deal with three sisters in Texas.

Summary: Perfect for a quick read on a busy weekend.
Review: The story is about a small town girl who basically gets stood up before her wedding. The bad news gets handed to her by her childhood friend. He tells her she should marry him instead, so she can get away from the prying eyes of her family and she can decide what she wants to do with her life. She agrees and the snowball starts rolling from there.
The story isn't nearly one of my favorites, but I did find myself laughing a time or two. It isn't a edge of the seat type story so you could easily put it down to tend to the kids if needed. Give it a try when you go on vacation.
