Summary: Excellent for a category romance
Review: His Other Mother captures several themes common to romance books (Marriage of Convenience, the hero with the hardened heart, etc) but is written in such a way that it touched me deeply in a number of places... the heroine's past & how she has come to terms with it; an adorable, sensitive little boy who, in his short life has had too much to deal with; her ability to describe the beauty of different places to live: NYC vs a rugged Wyoming ranch.The hero's stubbornness was a bit annoying (but part of his character) ~ I did get impatient with his inability to face his feelings and express them. Still, the same events that have affected his son have had the same affect on him. I would recommend this book and am disappointed to find no other titles listed by this author!
