Summary: Love in the Hardware Store
Review: Dana Morgan works for eighty-year-old Walter Willis, a man she dearly loves, in his hardware store in small town Bonnydale, not far from Calgary. Well, actually she works for Walter's nephew Spencer, because a few years ago Walter retired, putting Spencer in charge of the chain of hardware stores. However the Bonnydale store was Walter's original store and he putters around there, waiting on customers about five days a week and everybody in town loves him.

Every other Thursday is known as Black Thursday in the store, because that's when Spencer drives down from Calgary with a list of changes he wants made. Dana never makes them, because she knows more about the hardware business than Spencer will ever know and Walter always backs Dana. So now you can figure out how Dana and Spencer feel about each other.

But Walter is sort of a matchmaker in his old age. He comes up with the idea of making home repair videos, starring Dana and Spencer, a project that both at first refuse, but eventually give into, because kindly old Walter is wiley as all get out. So what do you think happens next? Some kind of romance to be sure, but even knowing that, it's the novel length ride in this excellent book that is where all the fun lies. You should read it find out for yourself, it's really good.
