Summary: Interesting Story, But Not a keeper!
Review: I like to read romance books that take place during the Christmas holiday and the Silhouette Special Edition book A Country Christmas by Jessica St. James was good but it wasn't a book I wanted to keep for my collection of romance book keepers though it was a good one time read. Kate Callahan goes to England and stays at an old hotel that I think used to be an old castle or something, there she runs into her estranged husband O'Rourke Callahan and gets involved in mystery and intrigue involving stories about a young lady from probably the Regency period or earlier who disappears after a highwayman abducts her but part of the mystery is if he really abducted her or if they were lovers and she ran away with him and also Kate seems to be having dreams about the highwayman but are they dreams? A ghost? O'Rourke playing tricks on her or could she be remembering a past life experience? It's an interesting story but I just didn't find it to be a book I could read again and again and the mystery is never really explained.

Summary: i loved this book
Review: i loved this book. i love the fact it takes place in england on christmas.
i think it is very romantic, and i love mysteries and it has mystery involved also.
i espically like the characters in it.
the only reason i did not give it 5 starts. the ghost part did not do much for me.
i am usually not a romanace fan but the setting and mystery drew me to it.
this is one of my all time favorite books
