Daddy's Double Due Date (Silhouette Romance, No. 1587)

Summary: He's the Father of Her Twins, Oh Darn!
Review: Hunter Morgan is the Deputy District Attorney for Kern County in Texas and is about to run for district attorney. He is at his brother's when he gets a call from a sperm bank saying that his sperm had successfully impregnated Laura Ashely Morgen. A mix up, the sperm was supposed to be for his sister-in-law as his brother had a low sperm count.

Hunter uses his position to track Laura down and bullies the sperm bank into giving him proof, then he bullies his way into Laura's life. I'm sure that's not how Ms. Barnes intended the story to be portrayed, but that's exactly how I saw it. I was very sympathetic to Laura and I couldn't stand Hunter. Of course they wind up as in item, it is a romance, but jeez, why do romance writers have to write about guys like this. Only three stars, because I just didn't like Hunter at all, though I concede others may not agree with me.
