Summary: Storyline from back of book
Review: Flint Hills Bride by Cassandra Austin (Harlequin Historical Romance #430 )

SHE'D BEEN THE TOMBOY HEIRESS AND HE, THE HIRED HAND

Now things were a little different. He was Jake Rawlins, dedicated lawman, and she was Emily Prescott, woman on the run. But all Jake wanted was to get her to trust him enough to run-straight into his waiting arms.

Emily had never been denied anything by her family, until now. And if the man they were trying to keep her away from was the man she really wanted to marry, how come Jake was looking better all the time?

Summary: get your smile ready!
Review: Flint Hills Bride was the funniest romance novel I have ever read! The teasing back and forth couldn't have been better. After reading so many other novels where the heorine is in constant turmoil and upset, it was great to be able to laugh for a change.

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: Nice read, but somewhat lacking
Review: This was a nice read, but somewhat lacking in depth that creates strong emotion to the reader. I read this first and I will not read the prequel, Hero of Flint Hills, as I will donate this book to our library in hopes others will enjoy it more than I did.
