Rating: Summary: A Great History Lesson Review: A beautiful novel set in the early 20th century that depicts life in southern California of the authors family. This book will keep you laughing as is details Gadyce's young daughters and the adventures they have growing up in a haunted house. Rogers has a great way of integrating historical events of that time. You not only learn history you also learn about the authors early life. A very touching novel of life, loves, & dreams.
Rating: Summary: Just checking Review: For those who like situation comedy, prepare to laugh until you can't stand up for the first part of this book. Fortunately, I was sitting down. For those who like a love story, get ready to get mushy during the last half of this book. And for those who like the creepy, the last quarter and a little of the first half are all yours.

Rating: Summary: Wonderful Historical Novel Review: I loved this book. It is an engaging story about a young womans life, love & hardships, with an informative history lesson thrown in. I was captivated by Mylayna's story. Gayle Rogers weaves an amazing tale of her own life story with an eloquent & descriptive style. I couldn't put this book down. Rating: Summary: Beautiful Love Story Review: I've read Gladyce With a C and I have to say that it is incredible. The author's writing creates a world that is both vivid and poetic. It is a metaphysical and mystical love story that follows the lives of two young lovers who were destined to be together long before they ever met.Years ago I read this author's best selling book Nakoa's Woman. Gladyce With a C is the continuation of Nakoa & Maria's love story in a new incarnation. Gayle Rogers is an awesome writer. When I read her stories I become a part of them.
Rating: Summary: Wow! I'm reliving forgotten memories. Review: This book has reopened my mind to my buried past. She has recreated times & events that brought them all back to me.My heart is just racing & I have goose bumps because of all the old memories that have taken place in her story. Even the near death experience was so similiar to mine that I am not afraid to die because it was a beautiful light tunnel & what a JOY & Glorious feeling to travel thru. Each page was an experience & the time lines & historical events brought so many thoughts of earlier years Now that I am a real senior citizen ,it made me recall all the experiences we had growing up in those turbulant years. I read it so fast now I will read it slower, each word, each sentence, each chapter, & really enjoy & relive each of my past memories again . I loved her for bringing back Nakoa as Nathaniel & Maria as Mylayna from her first book ,The Second Kiss, Because when I was 19 I met a wonderful person , & we each went our separate ways then ... when my Dad died & I went East for the Funeral ,I found him, my Soul Mate after 35 years & we have been married for 23 years happily . To love and be loved is important to you and to me. So read this book if you are a sensitive caring person and family orientated.

Rating: Summary: Gladyce with a C Review: This is the second book that I have read by this author. The first book was titled "The Second Kiss" and was truly wonderful. I have been patiently waiting for more books by Gayle Rogers. Finally Gladyce with a C is here. I have given it a definite 5 star rating on the entire content. I was especially impressed with the historical facts and dates. It seemed as though I was there participating in the action. The romance kept me so engrossed that I stayed up to 2:00 AM to finish it. The ending was perfect. Let's hear a lot more from Gayle Rogers. Lee Bielinski
