Rating: Summary: When all is said and done... Review: Delilah Benton has a reputation for being a flighty, irresponsible flirt. When she quits her job because she finds out that her boss, whom she just so happens to be in a relationship with, is married, it just adds more fuel to the fire.
Hoping to escape and reevaluate her life, Delilah heads to Coree Island, where she meets attractive Dr. David Washington. Neither Delilah nor David are looking for romance, but when love calls you have to answer. The pull between them is so strong that, much to the dismay of their friends and family, the couple gets married only weeks after knowing each other. When the initial blush of romance is gone, and the realities of married life set in, Delilah begins to question her hasty decision. Will Delilah honor her marriage vows and stay with David through the good times and the bad, or will she throw in the towel?
LOVING DELILAH was a satisfactory read. There were numerous characters from the author's previous works that were oftentimes hard to keep straight. Several times I felt the need to go back and re-read those other novels just to remember who was who and what their story was. However, the love between the characters was endearing and a good example of what true love should be.
