Summary: One of the worst written books
Review: In my opinion this book was one of the worst written ever. I've read over a hundred romance books and this one tops the list of the worst written. I highly recommend that if you want to purchase a good romance book you don't buy this one. I think the author of this book ran out of things to say so she threw in crap to fill the pages.

Summary: Forever to finish!
Review: This was not a long book by my standards but it felt like it took me forever to finish it. I literally had to force myself to keep reading when I was only halfway through the book. Firstly, Sate is rough and cruel and not at all likable -- I found myself wondering why Juliana even bothered falling in love with him. Everything seems to happen too quickly without any sort of development or motivation. You really don't care one whit if the characters ever get together because you can't force yourself to care about the characters. Sate is unfeeling and Juliana uses the two men she marries. Another thing that bothered me is the fact that there are so many coincidences that it starts seeming ridiculous. In a book about an untamed land with many settlers and Indians, the characters sure end up stumbling upon one another a lot! As with another book I've read by this same author, there are way too many typographical errors. It seems that no one even proofs these books before they are printed. I wouldn't recommend reading this book unless you've exhausted your town library, your personal library and read every book at your local bookstore.
