A random accident has left the sexy doctor unable to practice medicine, but Brooke's healing touch is exactly the incentive Jared needs to start the road to recovery.
Brooke tries to maintain her professional demeanor, but finds it hard to resist his charming banter. Even more difficult to resist is the vulnerability haunting his eyes.
Jared doesn't want to examine his growing feelings for Brooke too closely. He's always been the healer and now finds himself on the other side. Only one woman is strong enough to convince him to fight for his recovery and his very identity when the outcome is unknown.
