Summary: Great Book!
Review: This is the first time I've ever read one of Patricia A. Rasey's
books and from the title I thought it was a Vampire book. I was a little disappointed to find out it wasn't, however when I got into the book I realized it was a great read because I just couldn't put it down, the story drew me in.
Set it 1920's New York & Denver, Colorado, this Romantic Suspense has you wondering whodunit from the getgo! It'll be total surprise, I assure you, and I've read a lot of mysteries.
Foster Taylor is a man who has raised himself up from nothing to be the owner of a several hotels in Georgia, New York & Denver. It seems someone is out to get him by going after those he loves, as a result he's afraid to love. He's become a ladies man who refuses to settle down and moves on when any lady tries to get too close.
Brooke Abel has had a tragic life. Born in poverty, seeing her parents murdered, trying to live with an abusive relative, then finally going back home to Denver to make a home & a living, she opens, Body Apparel inside the latest hotel belonging to Foster Tyler.
There are several characters woven into the the story that create a realistic time capsule and a mystery that will keep you going to the very end!
The only flaw I really thought I ran across was the hero having long hair tied back with leather. I don't think the 1920's was a time for long hair on gents, but then I wasn't there.
I was impressed with this book and will look for more of Patricia Rasey's books!
