Review: I found this book unreal and unromantic. This is the story of the love of two middle-aged people (the heroine was 38 years old and the hero 42), a thing that makes the plot ordinary. The descriptions were monotonous and the outcome was not really sensual. The fact that the heroine was widowed at an early age and isolated herself for 15 years after the death of her husband makes her look boring and the whole plot even more unrealistic. Reading this book you realize that there is no climax. At no point does the book take you away.
