Review: A Hero for Sophie Jones ( Silhouette Special Edition No 1196) The Jones Gang

by Christine Rimmer

September Special Edition heats up, beginning with Christine Rimmer's latest offering, A HERO FOR SOPHIE JONES . A virile businessman's desire to regain control of the family ranch means displacing an angelic innkeeper, whose gentle nature slowly awakens his hardened heart. In addition to creating a marvelously kind-hearted heroine and a splendidly bruised hero, Ms. Rimmer smoothly draws the reader through her unhurried love story

Summary: Extraordinary--she's done it again.
Review: I didn't have the time to read this book and decided to try to sneak in a chapter at a time, but once started, it was impossible to put down. As always, Rimmer writes from the heart. Warm, interesting, real people that you care about and truly believe belong together. Best of all you believe their happy ending is real.

Summary: Love can make us a better person
Review: Loved this book! Sinclair Riker is a man who doesn't believe in love, nor in the goodness of his own soul. Sophie B. Jones is a woman whose philosophy is to look for the good in everyone. She's just exactly what cynical Sin Riker needs and doesn't think he deserves. Against his own judgment, he falls in love with her. But he loves Sophie enough to let her go to save her from himself - the question is: is Sophie a strong enough woman to go after him and claim Sin for her own, and save them both? I love Christine Rimmer's "Jones Gang" stories - can't wait for the next one!
