Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Excellent Locked Room Mystery/Suspense
Review: If you are not familiar with Sharon Green she is a very talented writer- well known for her erotic science fiction. She has also written some intelligent romantic suspense novels for the Harlequin Intrigue line. This is one of my favorites.

A true "locked room" mystery Haunted House is a twisty turning who-dunnit set in a themed hotel in CT. The hotel is a brilliant idea- would be a huge tourist hit today with all of the interest in hauntings. Her lead character is a strong intelligent woman who matches wits well with our hero. Not overly sexy- this one is about romantic tension and the main focus is the mystery. This is a fun and captivating mystery- should hold your interest to the very end!

From back of book:
For mystery writer Diane Philips, it was supposed to be a
working weekend -- a convention of writers, editors and fans,
held at the wonderfully spooky resort known as the Haunted
House.
Work or no, Diane was hoping to enjoy herself. And two
charming men had already offered to help. Between her new
acquaintance, James Grayson, who'd supported her against an
old enemy, and the dashing masked pirate who'd declared
himself her secret admirer, the weekend showed real promise.

But when the resort's murder games turned frighteningly real,
with Diane the prime suspect and both her new admirers
entangled in the plot, Diane searched desperately for a way
out. And only time would tell if this new chapter in her life
would be the beginning or the end.
