Review: Andrey Ramsey was watching Lily Deslin's daughter, Cassie, from afar. Lily confronts him and discovers a secret that scares her. Andrew is Cassie's biological father. Lily was artifically inseminated. Now she's afraid he's come to take away her child. Andrew has returned to watch over Cassie; to protect her from greedy men who want to use her special psychic abilities that she has inherited from her father. Lily must learn to trust this enigmatic stranger and the love he offers. This story follows some years after "Last Bridge Home", which is an even better story.

Review: At first, I did't know this book was the third of a series of four(Last Bridge Home- Star Light Star Bright- Magnificent Folly- A Tough Man to tame). Therefor, the secret that shared Andrew and Lily was so devastating I couldn't stop laughing.

Magnificent Folly was a really true folly for me.

Magnificent Folly is the 3rd book in the Sedikhan series by Iris Johansen. In the first book, Last Bridge Home, the heroine was pregnant with Andrew, so it was fun to see him all grown up and falling in love on his own. If you read them in order, you get more background information, but I read Magnificent Folly first and didn't have any trouble understanding what was going on. This is my favorite in the series and I just love Andrew's character. He is truly a gentle hero who is not afraid to fight for what he wants, but would rather persuade and woo. Lily was a tough heroine who had to deal with a lot of challenges in life, but it was her toughness and survival skills that attracted Andrew to her in the first place. Well written, fast paced, with hot romance, this is a book not to be missed for Iris Johansen fans!
