Rating: Summary: An uplifting story! Review: "Lori" is one of those rare books that focuses on the positive rather than the negative. It embodies the pursuit of dreams and the value of friendship, wrapped within a love story that is accessible to all readers. "Lori" draws you in right away and you'll be unable to put it down. The author captures you with emotion and an easy style of writing. The charactors are complex, real human beings and their dialogue and interactions completely believable. If you've ever had a dream or goal, "Lori" will inspire you to chase it with all your heart! Can't wait for the next book in the series!
Rating: Summary: An Uplifting Story Review: "Lori" is the perfect story for readers who enjoy books about love, friendship and dreams that can come true through work and perseverance. The characters are so real one feels as if they are your friends and neighbors. I'm definitely looking forward to the rest of the series.
Rating: Summary: refreshing change of pace Review: I found this book to be a refreshing change of pace from a lot of the books out there. It's about everyday life and the typical struggles that people go through from day to day, and how people can have a positive impact on each other. The different characters in the book fit a range of personalities / archetypes, so that most anyone that reads the book will find someone they relate to, even if it's not necessarily the main character. I recommend it to anyone that might be trying to overcome challenges in order to reach a big goal, or anyone that just needs to realize that they really are special and can make a positive impact on someone else's life.
Rating: Summary: This is a great summer read! Review: This is a very well written, belivable story about a group of friends trying to establish themselves in the world, with all those challenges in life about being young and trying to figure out who you are. You can very easily relate to the characters, and understand what they are going through, even the supporting cast is well developed. Many of the characters will remind you of someone you know, or maybe even yourself! The positive spin is refreshing, and re-visiting the excitment and the wonder of ones first true love is good for the soul. I am very much looking forward to the next book in the series, and what happens next in the characters lives.
Rating: Summary: awesome Review: This is an awesome book. I couldnt put the book down once I started reading it. I cant wait to hear more from this author.
Rating: Summary: An Uplifting Story Review: This novel is one you totally lose yourself in!! You become part of the gang of friends and feel like Lori's sibling who knows her ways of thinking, feeling, and ALL the emotions she goes through. It's a novel where you can say 'Don't worry girl! Been there, done that, oooo! Should've tried that instead!!' Lori is a great role model, but not perfect; this is what makes the story an enjoyable ride through a wide range of emotions. Definitely an eye opener to goals and life intermingling!!
