Rating: Summary: Tonyia's Done It Again! Review: Once again, authoress, Tonyia Gray has written a romance that will take you away to somewhere special. Ellie and Zach are star crossed lovers who have been unfortunately separated by The General. But Life and Love have a way of ferreting out a second chance when lovers stay true to themselves. Ellie's Choice is a tightly written story that takes you right to Martha's Vineyard and makes you want to stay there. As always, her characters are sterling and might be the people that you know. Action flows so smoothly that you will be finished with this story before you can make yourself put it down. T.L. Gray, thanks for another wonderful story - and hurry up and finish the next one. I can't wait to get it into my hands. Karen Ender
Rating: Summary: Tangy! Review: The Memorial Day weekend isn't fun in the sun for Ellie MacGraw and Zachary Hunter. Instead, it's become pure, unadulterated pain for both Ellie and Zack. Tortured by the demons of the past, they are both determined that this year's holiday will be different. Ellie is staying at the Summerhouse, the Martha's Vineyard vacation home left to her by her mother. Surviving the deaths of her mother and brother, and an emotionally barren marriage and divorce, Ellie thinks she can handle anything thrown into her path. But she didn't count on Zack Hunter moving in just three doors down... She's never forgotten her first love, despite the pain his actions caused her family. The young lovers were torn apart by her father, Colonel Warren MacGraw, and circumstances that they couldn't control. The Colonel has been a strict father, ruling his family with the same iron fist he used to control his Marines. After the death of his only son, which he blamed on Zack, the Colonel used his influence to have Zack dishonorably discharged from the Marines. He also pushed Ellie into marriage with Daniel Jackson, the Colonel's new protégé. Many years have passed, but the attraction between Ellie and Zack has never died. Could this summer be their last chance to find happiness together? As they come to the most important crossroads of their lives, will they have the strength to choose the right path? Ellie and Zack's physical and emotional reunion will keep readers turning the pages of ELLIE'S CHOICE by T.L. Gray. A touch of suspense is added to the story, as Ellie discovers her mother's diary and begins to piece together the mystery surrounding her brother's death. At times, the secondary characters threaten to steal the reader's attention from the central story line. One secondary relationship was particularly captivating, and I hope that Ms. Gray gives those characters a book of their own. ELLIE'S CHOICE is both entertaining and relaxing, making it a great choice for a lazy afternoon.-- Julie Shininger ...
