Summary: Not just another romance novel...
Review: This book was incredibly entertaining. I picked it up and started flipping through the pages a few weeks ago when I was bored, expecting nothing but a boring rehash of the typical romance novel stuff. However, I was surprised and amazed at the complexity of Ms. Ward's characters and their likeness to reality. She certainly knows how to capture the reader's mind. I couldn't put the book down! From the moment Cecily and her cat Archimedes arrived in Dorset, to the time she and the foppish Lord Brandon went in search of a new cook, to the smugglers, etc. etc. etc. this book is a definite reccomendation of mine. If you can, pick up a copy and read it. You won't be disappointed. I was thoroughly "enchanted".
