Summary: Great Mountain Story!
Review: I attended a live performance of "Songs from the Mountain" at E-town in Boulder which was excellent and caused me to read some books about mountain life. This one, in particular, caught my eye and my interest. It is extremely well-written, heartfelt and endearing. I recommend it most highly!

Summary: Great Mountain Story!
Review: I met the author at a bookstore in Panama City last year and got her book for my wife. Ms. Sinclair was both charming and gracious and she helped me with her encouraging words about my career change. I could tell she was a woman with a heart and according to my wife, Ms. Sinclair's compassion came through this book about life in the Kentucky mountains. Last week I finally made the time to read "Grant Denied" and I enjoyed the story and the characters. It's entertaining, well written and meaningful to all and I recommend it highly to other readers. This is the sort of book my wife and I wish would make it to Oprah's Book Club.
