Maybe they just didn't get it, the book is just a love story with beautiful characters. I finished the book in two days. What can I say, I enjoyed the book especially Craig, he was just a top notch character. Don't let any one dissuade you keep up the good work.

Summary: Proceed with Caution!
Review: I am an avid reader of romance novels, but it took me at least 3 weeks to read this book. In fact, I stop reading this novel several times to read other books because it just didn't hold my attention.
I was actually warned not to read this book, but because I had never read a book by this particular author and because I am not that unforgiving of a mediocre novel I decided not to heed that warning. I must admit that the plot was interesting, but the heroine got on my last nerve she cried about everything and when I say everything, I mean everything, not to mention the leading man Craig has a couple of crying jags too. Also the flowery language between the characters for 350 pages will become annoying if you decide to tredge through this book for example, "your effervescence will take over if my smile should somehow lose its brilliance."
I usually don't discourage others from reading a book, but if you are looking for a satisfying read please do not read this book. However, if you decide to ignore my warning, I'd like for you to take note of how much she cries throughout this book and see if the heroine's character doesn't come off as emotionally high-strug and needy.
To be honest it has never taken me that much time to read a book and this has made me cautious as to whether I want to read any other works by this author.

I enjoyed reading Island Interlude. The novel was so beautiful and well written that I couldn't go to sleep until I finished reading it. The story line was very fascinating, hot and sensual. The couple were beautiful together, especially during their first meeting on the beach. I always enjoy reading your novels, because your characters always seem real. Linda, you are truly a remarkable person and author. God has given you the talent and gift to write. Please don't let anyone or anything keep you from writing such beautiful novels. I will always be your #1 reader. I can't wait to read your next novel.

Review: Regardless to other opinions, I feel that Ms Smith wrote this book with some of the best writing skills one can have. It was very entertaining and enjoyable. I loved it to the fullest. It is just what someone maybe looking for in a romance book.

Sambrea and Craig have a whirlwind romance which is complicated by the sudden appearance of her mother. It is further complicated by the fact that Craig may have reason's other than love for romancing Sambrea. He claims to have Sambrea's best interests at heart but how can she be sure? Sultry Hawaiian nights serve as backdrop to this love story as the two try to hold on to their love amid mistrust and secrets from Sambrea's past that even she was not aware of.I love the premise of Island Interlude. I did feel that the hero and heroine moved too swiftly at the beginning. Once I got past that I found this to be an enjoyable 'kick your shoes off' and be swept by away fantasy-romance read. Summary: Extremely Sensual
Review: This is another great book by Linda, I wish I knew a Craig the astute businessman or someone like him. I thought Sambrea was a bold sister because of how she went with her instinct and feeling with Craig. The romantic pull on the both of them was so great, that they had to succumb to what they were feeling. I thought her so called stepmother was a witch. This book is sensual, hot/sizzling,and delicious. Makes a really great read.
