Summary: Loved It!!!
Review: "Fever" is the delightful sequel to Grosvenor's "Like Boogie on Friday" that does not disappoint! Energetic, entertaining and like its title, HOT!!!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: IT'S GETTIN' HOT IN HERE!
Review: A read most worthy of its scorching title. In FEVER, you will share the lives of five colorful characters--two couples and one widow--each with some unique history tied to the other, as it relates to marriages on the brink of despair, strained friendships, and unforgivable heartbreaks. But the hardships that real-life people are unwilling to resolve, in their marriages and friendships, Grosvenor's characters muster the necessary will and strength to confront... and overcome.

To those young adults considering marriage for the first time, and to those couples who find themselves dealing with the downside of what began as a perfect marriage--please let this novel, FEVER, be your guide to what "the life" is truly about, and how couples should expect their committed vows to be tested but not necessarily break up, as often occurs, what God has brought together.

Summary: Engaging, Compelling!
Review: Fever is engaging with the continuing saga of the characters Tim, Nina, Troi, Carla, Sam etc. that had us spellbound in Like Boogie On Tuesday! Only Linda can make the episode of their lives feel like real people who are just as vunerable as people are today in our own lives.

Summary: Real Life!
Review: I am a romance writer who's used to writing stories with some issues and happy endings. I write stories that help the reader escape. I loved "Fever" for its romance, but its no holds barred face off with the real issues women face. I love a good plot, but "Fever" was neatly balanced with an explosive plot and deeply drawn characters that made me mad, frustrated, and happy. I can't wait to read "Like Boogie on Tuesday", and all of Ms. Grosvenor's books! She truly has something to say to women of all races.

Summary: A great escape!
Review: I love Grosvenor's powerful and descriptive writing style. Each character and each scene was beautifully described and allow me inside to be a part of the action. The story had flow and was not overdone. Books that can take you out of today and escape to another place are great. This one did exactly that to me.

Summary: Ya Give me Fever....
Review: Like Boogie on Tuesday was the beginning for Tim, Nina, Sam, Carla and Troi. In Linda Dominique Grosvenor's Fever, the emotions continue on a higher level. According to Merriam Webster's Dictionary Fever means; a state of heightened or intense emotions or activity. This definition depicts the character's feelings at one time or another.

Past sins were the essence of Like Boogie on Tuesday and part motivator
for Fever the sequel. Each character has grown in his/her own way, which really brought them to life for me. It is funny how my favorite character changed often. Once I came to the abrupt ending of the book, I realized they all were my favorite.

For Tim Richardson success is so close he can taste it. It finally seems he
is about to have it all but having it all means something totally
different to his wife Nina, so different she feels empty. Nina
Richardson has grown since Like Boogie on Tuesday and her rules have
changed. One thing that has not changed much is her self-worth. She
learns a valuable lesson from her marriage that stays with her and
keeps a smile on her face.

Sam Singleton has a generous heart, but how long is his generosity? His wife Carla is the victim of a horrendous act that causes her to shut down emotionally. She closes everyone out and then she finds herself all alone holding papers that could mean the end for her. Troi Singleton has feelings buried deep within her soul for a man who is off limits by her standards.

Each characters issue is way above Fahrenheit level and ready to
combust. Grosvenor did an excellent job of keeping the storyline moving
and the characters lives believable. Tim, Nina, Sam, Carla and Troi
became my family as they will become yours. Fever is a fast paced ride
all should experience.

Summary: Fever is Phenomenal!
Review: Linda Dominique Grosvenor has done it again! In Fever, the sequel to Like Boogie on Tuesday, there is never a dull moment! I was captivated! I could hardly wait to turn the page. I highly recommend this and all other books by Linda Dominique!

Summary: Descriptive writing brings this home!
Review: Linda Dominique Grosvenor's writing in Fever is so descriptive that she puts new meaning to "being there." I was able to step inside the stories of Nina, Carla, and Troi, becoming them; feeling their pain and their joys. Although, very precise and descriptive in writing, Ms. Grosvenor is not pretentious...she doesn't come across as nasally academic...but makes you comfortable within the story. Excellent storytelling!
