Summary: Enjoyable but not much action...
Review: I enjoyed this book but would've like to see some more excitement or earlier romance. It's not until around page 275 or later when Adam & Brandy finally get together so if you like a lot of hooking up in your books this may not be the right book but if you don't mind the romance building up over a few hundred pages until it finally happens then this book is good but theres just not tons of excitement. If I could I would've gave the book 3.5 stars.

Summary: Likeable, realistic characters
Review: This is a well-written, fast-paced story about Brandy - who peddles homemade medicines to support herself and her sister - and the Sheriff who would run her out of town to prevent her from swindling the town's citizens that he has sworn to protect. It's like the movie "Leap of Faith" ... sort of. What I liked best about the book, compared to other romance novels, are the realistic reactions of the characters. The lead characters are strong but not headstrong or stupid. And because of that, they are likeable. Although the author rushed the ending of the book, it did not detract from the story. It's worth a read.
