Review: Having been engaged in some form of writing all my life, I now find it almost ineffable to express, being somewhat at a loss for words, the thrill of walking into a book store and seeing a work I penned on the shelves for sale. I suppose every author's dream is to write the "Great American Novel." My manuscript, "Forbidden Happiness," was actually an English assignment with the hope it would become my college thesis. However, after being packed away for over five decades, it was finally submitted, and accepted, for publication. My intent was to render an engrossing love story...high in drama..and warmly sympathetic toward its central character. I ask my readers to critique the work not as having been written by a man standing in the twilight of life; but, by a 17-year old journalism student with a wild imagination.
