Rating: Summary: Excellent Read!!! Review: I read this book in 5 hours and I really enjoyed it. Jordan grew up on the wrong side of the tracks and was in love with Amber. In high school, Amber was about to get her faced slashed by a group of haters in her school and Jordan came to the rescue. He asked her out and she laughed in his face and tried to give him $20 to compensate him for helping her. Later on Jordan became J.B. Real, a very famous rap star and returned to his old neighborhood. His plan was to get back at Amber for how she treated him in high school. He intended to sleep with her and then leave her...it's didn't work out that way. They eventually hooked up after alot of "drama". This book was full of passion and love. I really enjoyed this book. I am looking forward to Ms. Lebeau's next novel.

Rating: Summary: How do you see me now? Review: Twelve years have passed since Jordan Burrell saved Hilton High's homecoming queen, Amber Morgan from some over zealous girls. Because of his heroics, Jordan thought Amber would go out on a date with him, but he was a boy from the Eden Hill projects and her father was the President of Cunningham State College. Now Jordan, 'J.B. Real' is back as the guest of honor in Cunningham's annual fund raiser. And he's causing quite a stir; as a famous rapper he is allowing MTV to film the entire affair. Amber is now a doctor and runs a clinic in Eden Hills, she seems drawn to helping the tenants from the Eden Hill Projects. When the two bump into each other and compare notes, not much has changed. Amber still thinks he's not in her league, but he has definitely captured her attention. Seeing him again makes her realize she wants something more. But J.B. has a score to settle. The story was fairly predictable; Amber tries to come to turns with her feelings for Jordan and she is still trying to live up to her parent's prejudices. When tragedy strikes, and a 30 year old secret is revealed, in spite of her parents Amber finds herself reaching out to Jordan. I've also read and enjoyed Ms. Lebeau's other Indigo books. I especially like the small town atmosphere which is becoming her trademark. Reviewed by aNN Brown
