Rating: Summary: Worth the Read Review: Set in the turbulent 70's, Faces Against the Wind is a story of two disparate, desperate star-crossed lovers. Set in the `70s, this is a tale of cruel fate which steps on the necks of two lost souls who believe that destiny brought them together for their own salvation. Persons can identify with the two complex characters, one a traditional bad boy with a heart of gold and the other a needy suicidal innocent who is capable of causing great emotional pain. Sacrifice on the part of both for the love of the other is the constant theme. People will mourn that these two lovers did not grow old together.
Kat Lombardo is a little-known photographer who has written this book to keep a promise to her husband to write down their story. Her on-line business ELphotos.com has been an entity on the Internet since 1999. This is her first book but not possibly her last since a turn of events has culminated in her marriage to Bob, her husband's best friend.
