Famous actress Catherine Barrister wakes up in a raft, on a beach facing the ocean. To add to the foreign scenery, six men on large horses are staring at her. They are dressed in a rather unusual get up and one of them claims to be King Richard...King Richard...right... the fourth man to the left is quite a sight to behold, though. Catherine promises herself that she is going to give Frank, her agent and best friend, a little piece of her mind...what is he trying to do by pulling this rather complicated trick on her?

Adrian Blackthorn, War Lord to King Richard, can`t keep his eyes off the beautiful and mysterious blonde they found on the beach. She is breathtaking...and her teeth...he has never seen such perfect and white teeth...but she claims to be a princess from a kingdom called America, which means she is well above his station. Despite that, Adrian and Catherine become friends and that friendship turns into something deeper.

Savannah Kaye`s Knight of Honor is a time travel romance set partially in 14th century England. This book provides the reader with quite an emotional ride. Both funny and moving, the plot of Knight of Honor is well drawn and enthralling. The main characters, Catherine and Adrian, are nicely developed and extremely likeable. Catherine is truly a 21st century woman, her reactions to her new set of circumstances are very well written and believable. Adrian, her knight of honor, is completely dedicated to his lady. Duty and honor bound, he has but one objective: to make Catherine happy and proud of being his lady. Their love is truly eternal. I must say that Knight of Honor touched me deeply, and even as I write these few lines, I feel tears welling in my eyes. The book shows a depth that I admit I did not expect. As to the historical aspect, the author is quite successful in creating a believable medieval atmosphere. I recommend this book to both lovers of time travel and historical romance.

Summary: Loved it !
Review: An avid reader myself, I would not have reached for this kind of book since I normally lean toward the more real-life fiction I've come to love. Time travel and sci-fi seemed a bit far-fetched for my imagination. But when a friend insisted I'd love it, I fell into the trap and spent the next several days buried in a book where the characters came alive and each was more believable and lovable than the last! I cannot believe that this is a "first" novel, and cannot wait for the next by this talented author who leaves you stunned by the depths of despair and brimming with hope at the laughter and joy in this main character who lets nothing get her down! From side-splitting, off-the-cuff humor to tears of deep loss and frustration, I didn't need any imagination at all to place myself side-by-side with Catherine Berrister as her gutsy, from-the-heart love of humanity and her abiding faith in family and hope in all things good drives her to survive the most incredible experience of a lifetime. Thank you Savannah Kaye and I look forward to many, many more in your future.

Summary: An "Honorable" Mention
Review: I must admit that I was a bit skeptical when I picked up this book. I thought "Not another Harlequin Romance...". Time travel books never seem too believable. This one was. I felt it comparable to Michael Crichton's, "Timeline". I really felt like I was back in the medieval times, and with a very different spin. Catherine's view is different than any I have read. Who would have thought to comment on the number of teeth left in one's head? I thought it was hilarous. Catherine somehow got everyone to lighten up. The book is funny, sad and sexy!

From the day I picked up the book, I read it every chance I got. When I wasn't reading it, I was thinking about it. Hat's off to you Savannah. Thanks for the laughs and tears.

Summary: What a surprise!!!
Review: I'm 42 former Marine retired Police Detective stuck on a flight to NY w/my wife. w/delays all my reading material I had already been through I read non-fiction,political novels military ect...
There I was staring at my shoes and I reached over and grabbed this book from my wife's bag Kight of Honor, hey maybe old age combat. What a shock how involved I got in this book I am now on page 351. The premise (yime travel) isn't new but the way the author presents this is an amazing skill. This gorgeous 2002 woman meeting a 14th century Knight. I believe he in fact went out of his mind in love with Princess Catherine. The author makes her situation believable with her research and nothing she suddenly pulls out from her world is without explaination. I love the old fashioned honor of a man like Sir Blackthorn protects his women no matter what. During a time when women ...well toothless and not very glamerous he meets Catherine
she smiles and he says "God's Teeth". Much more interesting and writen with professional style unlike those grocery store smut books....ok yes I thumbed through a few, I can't wait to see how it finishes. A man in 2003 should protect a woman just as Sir Blackthorn does in this era. Some things should never change. I'll fully admit I'll but the very next bok she writes. I bow to you Savannah Laye

Summary: must read time travel
Review: if you are a fan of time travel this is a book for you. One thing I liked was it was long. Sometimes time travel books are so short. This really got into the characters of the book so that by the end you felt like they were a part of the family. When you get into the book you feel as of Catherine is talking to you about her life in the middle ages just like she was a friend telling you her tale. I will not tell you the end because it is unique but I will tell you I cried because it was such a true love story. You will enjoy it.
