Summary: A day goes from BAD to WORSE...
Review: Jenny Matley's day goes from bad to worse when she discovers her husband in bed with another woman after losing her job as a social worker. She heads home to find solace in her apartment when her neighbor and friend decides to get the newspaper to help her out. Jenny's mom brings over the food and they settle down to watch America's Mysteries While searching the help wanted sections. Jenny, Heidi and Jenny's Mom, Audrey watch in astonishment as Jenny's recurring dream and childhood picture air on the show. Heidi grabs the phone for Jenny to call as Audrey forbids her to do so.
Martin Ducane's last resort to find his missing daughter is to air his story on America's Mysteries. Martin's Sister Vera is opposed to this idea ,and Jared agrees with her but fields the incoming calls for him. Jared arranges to meet Jenny to bring her to Martin.

Jenny stays with Jared while getting to know her father. An attempt on Martins life is blamed on Jenny and she is arrested, bringing Audrey to finally tell the deep dark secrets that have been hidden for 27 years. Jenny and Jared are remembering the events of one dark rainy night that changed their lives and may mark their future.

Catherine Snograss writes a novel that keeps you guessing right up until the ending. The ending will not only shock you but it also gives you the sense of hope as the characters move on from a tragedy with strength.

I would highly recommend this book to any reader who likes a good story of Romance mixed with suspense. If you are looking for a book that you can't put down on a rainy day, pick up this one.
