Rating: Summary: Amazon Nights Review: I picked this book up with the intention of reading a few chapters before I went to bed. Instead I ended up staying up all night reading it. I have always been interested in the Amazon legend and this was like living it. For people who are interested in fantasy, adventures, or Amazon folklore, this is an excellent book. This book comes across more as the real thing, or a biography, than as a made up story. The story has high interest, and flows well. The characters are realistic and when the book is completed, you just want more, more, more.... Definitely an adult book. One of the few I will probably read again.
Rating: Summary: Last Gardenia Review: Never before have I felt I was actually a part of a book. The author pulls you from your easy chair into the steamy jungles of South America. The characters are believable and the story is so real I thought it was actually true. The mystery of the mighty Amazons seems clear here and you leave the novel wanting to know more. Definately a good read.
Rating: Summary: Last Gardenia Review: This might be used as a synopsis to this book as it doesn't seem to have one yet. "Deep in the rainforest of Brazil lives a tribe of women untouched by civilization. It is into this tribe that Amanda is born, next in the Royal Line of Amazons. She is chosen by the goddesses she worships to bring real love back to the tribe. Her adventure covers many years and touches the lives of many men. Her quest includes the search for her long lost love that she has named "Viking". Her inbred ways make it difficult to become a normal woman and to fit into normal society as she lives in the United States for a span of forty years. Will she find the illusive emotion called Love? The struggle lies within her own heart and perhaps that is where she will find Love." (Adult Content) A book about life. The first book for the author and the first book in the Last Gardenia trilogy! Loved it...
