Summary: Get Lucky or get out
Review: I first read the story of Cowboy Jones and got hooked on Suzanne Brockmann. Since then I have been searching desperately for the older books, but when I found Got Lucky...who cares about any others! This book was EXCELLENT. Like the others below, I don't know what that cover was about, but everything inside it was wonderful.

Suzanne is one of the (few) romance authors today who can write about many different characters and give each a distinct personality. Her Navy Seals could all be carbon-copy, Ken-doll perfect soldiers, but each is unique. The only similarity between her characters is that they are all strong, determined people.

I am jumping from here right to Suzanne's website (suzannebrockmann.com) to search for information about reprints of her books--especially since the ugly cover is just about to fall off my copy from being read so many times.

Summary: Wonderful
Review: I loved this book. I could not put it down. It is one of the best in the series. I recommend that people read the entire series if they can find them. I saw that on some other reviews people were saying that this is the last book in the series, I don't think that is right. There are still two of the original group, Wes and Bobby, who haven't had a story. And Suz introduced two new seals and re-introduced the characters of Tasha and Thomas. I can't wait to read a story about them, they've certaintly grown up a lot since the third story. Lets hope that there are many more books to come in this fine series.

Summary: My first Suzanne Brockman book...but not the last
Review: I thought I would NEVER find a fantasy couple that I liked more than Mel and Cowboy in Everyday Average Jones, so I did not read any more of the TDD series. But I was very wrong...fell head over heels with Syd and Luke...I couldn't read fast enough. PLEASE Suzanne..don't seperate us from our fantastic SEAL men and their women...we need more!

Summary: Romantic Times Review
Review: Suzanne Brockmann knocks our socks off once again in GET LUCKY (4.5) as SEAL Team Tens Alpha Squad mobilizes with Lucky in charge to catch a serial rapist who marks his victims with a distinctive SEAL emblem. To the handsome officers dismay, he is saddled with an intrepid reporter who makes mincemeat of his dedication to bachelorhood. The adventure is breathtaking, the romance sizzling and the emotional intensity spectacular.

Summary: Wish I was so lucky!
Review: The Seals find their reputation in jeopardy when a rapist brands his victims with something only a Seal could own. I found this to be a great mystery thread that held up. Navy Seal Lucky, or Navy Ken as journalist Sydney calls him, is assigned to find the violent rapist. Sydney is a strong character with goals in life. At the beginning, Navy Ken, who prefers Barbie like girlfriends, disappointed me, but with Sydney's influence hope may be near.

Suzanne Brockmann is a great writer. Her characters are full of depth and she doesn't mind making them sound human, or taking risks with them; most of all she gives them hope and a chance to turn things around for the better.

It was a smooth, attentive read all the way. I really enjoyed it.

Summary: Atrocious Cover/ Wonderful Story
Review: This book should be the poster child for Don't Judge a Book by It's Cover. Does anyone else think the guy looks like a blond Lt. Bud Roberts from JAG?

I read the Admiral's Bride, Identity: Unknown and this book all in one week-end, and am now trying to find the others. The entire series is wonderful, and according to her website, one more is due to be released early next year, and the possibility of others.

The scene in the kitchen was wonderful. The characters are developed... I can't recommend it enough. I just wish the epilogue had continued to just past the I do's. Of course, since each book updates us a bit on the other characters...

Can't imagine anyone not liking this book! Adventure, romance, real love, humor. It has it all!

Check out Suzanne's website. She is trying to encourage a reprinting of the earlier books. There is an address to add your support to this campaign. Especially since it is so difficult to find them!

Summary: Suzanne has another hit!
Review: This is another example of the talent that this writer exhibits every time one of her books is published. I own the whole series to date. (Lucky Me!) And it isn't over yet according to the author who has a newsletter you can subscribe to. Just e-mail her a note asking her to add you to her list. HER E-MAIL address is SFTHQ@aol.com. Once again in this book we have a strong character heroine who is able to match the heroics of the SEAL hero and come off still appearing as feminine as a beauty queen. Whether she is or not has no bearing on Lucky's opinion as he is totally absorbed in his love for Sydney, the woman he plans to seduce but ends up needing, not just wanting to marry, which is a surprise to him. By the way Suz was more upset than anyone about the cover, which should have pictured the hero as a movie star idol type. I predict that Ms. Brockmann will be on the Best Sellers list one day soon. This series is just a beginning as she is testifying to by her new book THE UNSUNG HERO! Another seal series begins!

Summary: Atrocious Cover/ Wonderful Story
Review: This is the 9 th book of tall, dark and dangerous. It is a classical romance-adventure book. All the good guys go somewhere else and poor Lucky is left behind with the women and children to protect them. It is Shane, he has ridden back.

But this book is hilarious and wonderful. It has an episode where this Navy Ken makes a pass on a lady almost at their first meeting (! ). and then the other line he is totally shocked about an idea of someone thinking he would hit on Blue's Lucy. Lucky is Peter Pan, one who has never grown adult. This book should be called Lucky and the Ladies because other Teamten men are all some where in the bushes. I liked this book, a lot. It had humour, sizzle, romance and poor Lucky suffering in love. Forget the cover, it is awful.

Summary: Get Lucky and read this book!
Review: This was by far my favorite book by Suzanne Brockmann. It had everything, a thrilling love story, a back story full of suspense, and a great hero. As is usual for all of the books in this series that I've read to far, Ms. Brockmann manages to pull together a great couple, leaving the reader begging for more. And if you're lucky enough to find this book, as it is extremely difficult, strap in and get ready for an excellent ride.
