Summary: An inspiring story
Review: I have to admit that I wasn't expecting much from the book, because all I had heard was "it is very nice"; but I loved it! It is very well- written, and I couldn't let go! The story begins when Gemma, a gorgeous, young aspiring actress loses one of her legs in a train crash...and with her legs, she loses her dreams and her independence. However, she is determined to overcome all the difficulties that are put in her way, and manages to keep her head high no matter what. At the same time, she meets a young doctor, and their love-hate relationship is at times sweet, at others really unbelievable!! She also has to deal with her overprotective mother, her father who appears after leaving them when she was born, and all the legal matters of the accident. Overall, I think it is a great story which describes what someone in her position would go through in a very realistic way. I very highly recommend it, and I am certain that when you close the book, you will have a wide smile on your face and an inspiring story to remember forever.
