Rating: Summary: Romantic Times Review Review: Lady and the Scamp/the Doctor Dilemma (Duets, 58) by Candy Halliday, Dianne Drake Lady and the Scamp by Candy Halliday: Babysitting her mother's champion Bichon Frise, an attorney finds herself in deep trouble when the contrary dog mates with a neighborhood mutt instead of the high-priced stud they're expecting from England. Worse still, the mutt's owner is the somewhat disreputable talk radio host who's been scandalizing Mom and her social set. Unlike the animals, the two don't start on the best footing, but very quickly chemistry overpowers hostility. Newcomer Candy Halliday's LADY AND THE SCAMP is a fun read. The Doctor Dilemma by Dianne Drake: Looking for a way to really make a difference, a nurse takes a job at a small town clinic. Unfortunately, the handsome doctor who's taking over doesn't share her enthusiasm. When she learns that beneath the attitude lurks a decent man, he becomes too hard to resist. Dianne Drake's THE DOCTOR DILEMMA is an impressive debut by an author to watch. It's both sweet and sensual, with a very memorable hero.
