Summary: A fun read
Review: “SOMETHING ABOUT EWE”. Thalia Mitchell returns to her hometown of Shepherd's Pass, Colorado for a visit. The only person in town Thalia wants to avoid is her older brother’s best friend Luke Dalton because he is a reminder of her most embarrassing moment. As a teen, she chose Luke to be her first lover, but he rejected her seduction efforts. However, now their roles are reversed as Luke wants to do the seducing, but Thalia frets, starting something when she plans to leave town soon.

“THE PURRFECT MAN”. Emily Patton loves cats but is not much of a dog person. When Michael Forbes walks her home, he stops to rescue a canine from a dumpster. The dog is elated with his freedom and lets his saviors know his unbound joy. Because he lives in a no pet zone, Michael and the dog con Emily into taking the canine in until he can relocate it. However, Emily wonders why she thinks of relocating along with the mutt and the hunk.

Both stories are fun and amusing, as readers will be thoroughly entertained. As an added bonus, Ruth Jean Dale cleverly uses “secondary players” that tie the tales together in a small but delightful way.
